A 12-15oz hand-thrown stoneware mug at greenware stage — bone-dry and ready for inscription.
Your words are carved by hand into the bottom of this piece in Amanda’s handwriting before any firing begins. This size allows for 22 characters. After inscription, the piece goes through bisque fire to cone 04, your chosen glaze is applied by hand, and it completes its final fire to cone 6 at 2232°F. Your inscription fills with glaze and becomes permanent.
The inscription sits on the bottom — a private detail discovered each time you lift the mug.
Includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Timeline: 4–6 weeks from order to delivery.
