Piece #2025-056. 16-19oz greenware mug, hand-thrown on the wheel without measuring tools.
At greenware stage the clay is unfired and ready to be inscribed. Your words — up to 28 characters — are hand-carved into the bottom in Amanda’s handwriting. The piece is then fired, glazed in your chosen color, and fired again to cone 6 at 2232°F. The inscription becomes permanent, filled with glaze, visible only when you lift the mug.
