Frozen Milk Bottle Belly Mug

Description

Frozen glaze on a 21oz Milk Bottle Belly form. This piece was made during my transition from the Lohtu Ceramics era – and is the result of my original glaze combo ‘Rainy Day’ being fired at the new studio at a slightly hotter temp. The surface is semi-transparent with a crackle effect – this piece has a glaze drip running down to the bottom (see photos). Lohtu Ceramics stamp on the bottom.

Studio Clearance — these early pieces represent the origin of every glaze in the current lineup. Priced accessibly because they predate the current collection.

High-Fire Durability. Stoneware fired to 2232°F. Dense, chip-resistant. Lead-free glazes. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
